Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launch: A Collaboration of Local Institutions

Convention in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Attending the event were several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funds allocated for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening centers and gathering spaces will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.

Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals.
