On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funds allocated for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and goals
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transports will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
Role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring oversight and coordination services among the various entities involved.
