Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launch to Support Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, there was a convention held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of this initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Activities Planned and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
