Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Receives €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
