Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups Through Local Social Inclusion Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.
