Cornuda Social Support Project Supports Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union grants.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also fostering moments of community gathering and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring monitoring and coordination services among the various involved entities.
