Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches Support for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
