Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
