On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of the local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated budget for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved parties.
