Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by local political and social representatives, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and aggregating centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

The role of institutions and associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
