Cornuda Launches €100K Social Support Project for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
