Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Vulnerable Groups with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most disadvantaged groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

Role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
