Community Initiative Launched to Support Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims notably to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community grants.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
