Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion with €100,000 Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project to support the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
