Cornuda Social Service Project Supports Vulnerable Groups with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community grants.

Activities and Expected Objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
