Cornuda Social Support Initiative Boosts Community Inclusion and Care
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held in the Casa Sociale hall of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport services and facilities, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
