Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches with EU Funding to Support Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
