Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of the end of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially disadvantaged people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities and Planned Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

In addition, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

^l Comune di Cornuda has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
