Sarca Cleanup Nets 50 Kilos of Waste in Torbole

Volunteers from Dai Nèta, Rotte Inverse (Arco), S.O.S. Altissimo (Nago) and Canoa Club Trento Aps took part on Saturday, 29 August in a “Sarca cleaning” initiative along the riverbanks in Torbole, the 60th outing by Dai Nèta. The event, included in the international mobilisation “Alpi in movimento”, helped recover around 50 kilograms of waste, including plastic, cans, glass bottles and other materials left in the environment.

The operation brought together associations and volunteers from different areas with the aim of removing litter and highlighting the impact of individual behaviour. The Alto Garda and Ledro Community also supported the cleanup by providing bins for collecting and disposing of the gathered material.
