Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Boosts Support for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the participants, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity among residents.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among all involved parties.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
