Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
