On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer associations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
