Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Social transports, services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
