Cornuda Social Inclusion Project to Support Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and social gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Local Government has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring supervision and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
