Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Care

Cornuda Convention

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.

Overall, the agreement represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the most vulnerable people.
