On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union resources.

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
