Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, is particularly focused on improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for gatherings and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
