Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Boost Community Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport services, institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
