Regional Project Launch in Cornuda Aims for Social Inclusion & Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport services and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
