On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated funds for this initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.
