On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
