Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Engagement

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved local political and social representatives, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community engagement and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved components.
