Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups with €100K Social Care Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for encounters and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by ensuring monitoring and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
