Cracking Art Turns Parco Sigurtà Into a 162-Installation Open-Air Museum

A new outdoor art exhibition, **“Cracking Nature,”** by the collective **Cracking Art**, will be on display at **Parco Giardino Sigurtà** from **June 17 to September 17, 2026**, transforming the park’s **60 hectares** into an open-air museum with **162 installations** depicting colorful animals. The works—placed among hornbeams, boxwoods and maples near the entrance area—are made from **recycled and recyclable plastic** and range from **1 to 3 meters**, exploring the idea of **“cracking”** as a shift from natural to synthetic.

The collective includes **Renzo Nucara, Marco Veronese, Alex Angi, Kicco and William Sweetlove** and returns **four years** after their first collaboration, which premiered worldwide with the **“Oca”** (goose). The show features animals such as **dolphin, wolf, snail, frog, wild goose, penguin, marmot, turtle, rabbit, crocodile, swallow and elephant**; organizers say one installation is among the most significant at international level. The exhibition is open **9:00–19:00 (last entry 18:00)**, is **free with the Giardino ticket**, and visitors receive a **paper map** at the ticket office with descriptions to guide the route.
