On May 26th, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, the Lungolago Cesare Battisti in Desenzano del Garda will come alive with the “Dottori Claun” (Clown Doctors) from the association “Risvegliati VIP Brescia ODV”. This initiative aims to bring a wave of happiness through the therapy of smiles.
The “Dottori Claun” are volunteers from the association affiliated with the VIP (ViviamoInPositivo) Italia ODV federation, which is dedicated to improving the experience of patients in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Recognizable by their colorful lab coats and characteristic red noses, these volunteers are not just professional clowns, but passionate individuals who spread positivity and comfort through their work.
The “Risvegliati VIP Brescia ODV” association primarily operates through clown therapy, a practice that combines art and medicine to alleviate the suffering of patients. Volunteers visit hospital departments and assisted living facilities, offering moments of lightheartedness to patients. With their infectious smiles and generous hearts, they accompany patients on the difficult path to recovery, transmitting hope and joy.
The “Giornata del Naso Rosso” (Red Nose Day) represents a unique opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of positivity in everyday life. During this special day, the Dottori Claun will animate the streets of Desenzano with a series of engaging activities designed for all ages.
At the Lungolago Cesare Battisti, near the Venetian bridge, there will be face painting workshops, giant soap bubble creations, live music, and interactive dances. In addition, there will be information points where citizens can learn more about the association’s activities.
All residents of Desenzano del Garda and the surrounding municipalities are invited to participate in this extraordinary day. It will be an opportunity to experience unforgettable moments of solidarity and sharing.
The event promises to transform a normal day on Lake Garda into an experience rich in positive emotions thanks to the tireless commitment of the Dottori Claun.
