Garda Hoteliers Warn of Carabinieri Impersonation Scams

The Carabinieri are being impersonated by individuals who contact hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Middle and Upper Garda areas, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the municipal guards.

How to recognize scams
