Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazines in Garda Region

They impersonate Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurant owners in the Medio and Alto Garda regions, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

These are not soldiers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune police.
