Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, is particularly aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
