Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups

Cornuda Agreement

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which is planned to last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The City Council has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various stakeholders involved.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
